These terms explain the conditions for accessing and using ViewDent’s digital dental platform, ensuring responsible usage, security, and compliance for all users.

These Terms & Services (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the ViewDent digital dental platform (“ViewDent,” “the Platform,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), operated by ViewDent Dental Technologies Private Limited. By creating an account, accessing, or using ViewDent, you (“User,” “you,” or “your”) agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not access or use the Platform.
Billing, refund eligibility, processing timelines, and cancellation terms are addressed separately in our Refund Policy, which is incorporated by reference and should be read alongside these Terms.
You must be legally capable of entering into a binding contract under applicable law. By accessing ViewDent, you confirm that you meet this requirement and are duly authorized to use the Platform on behalf of your organization, clinic, laboratory, or practice.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. Any activity performed through your account is deemed authorized by you, including activity performed by staff members or sub-accounts you create or manage. ViewDent is not liable for losses arising from unauthorized access resulting from User negligence, including failure to safeguard credentials or failure to revoke access promptly when an employee or collaborator's relationship with your organization ends.
ViewDent implements role-based access control to govern what each user within an organization's account can view, edit, or manage. Roles currently include Super Admin, Admin, and Staff, each with a defined set of permissions across features such as case management, accounts and receipts, master controls, inventory, reports, and staff management. The applicable Role Based Feature Access Matrix, as published or made available within the Platform, forms part of these Terms by reference and may be updated by ViewDent from time to time.
You acknowledge and agree to the following regarding RBAC:
ViewDent may be used only for lawful dental, healthcare, educational, and administrative purposes. Users must not misuse the Platform for unauthorized, unethical, or illegal activities, including attempting to access data, features, or accounts without permission or outside the scope of their assigned role.
All subscriptions are prepaid and billed in advance. Payments are processed through secure third-party payment gateways. ViewDent does not store payment card details and is not responsible for issues arising from external payment providers. Refund eligibility and cancellation terms are governed by our separate Refund Policy.
All intellectual property related to the ViewDent platform, including its software, content, trademarks, and branding, is owned by ViewDent Dental Technologies Private Limited. Users may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the Platform without prior written permission.
ViewDent processes data, including clinical case data and information submitted through role-restricted features such as bank details and confidential documents, in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Users are responsible for ensuring that any patient or third-party data entered into the Platform is handled in compliance with applicable data protection laws, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and any sector-specific healthcare data regulations applicable to their practice.
ViewDent provides digital tools to support dental operations and decision-making. The Platform does not provide medical advice and is not responsible for clinical decisions, diagnoses, treatments, or patient outcomes made by healthcare professionals using the Platform.
Except in cases of gross negligence, willful misconduct, or fraud, ViewDent's aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or use of the Platform shall not exceed the total subscription fees paid by the User to ViewDent for the specific month in which the loss occurred. In no event shall ViewDent be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ViewDent Dental Technologies Private Limited, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, your violation of any applicable law, or your violation of any rights of a third party, including data protection or intellectual property rights.
ViewDent may suspend or terminate access to the Platform, in whole or in part, where there is reasonable belief of a breach of these Terms, misuse of role-based permissions, unauthorized access attempts, or non-payment of applicable fees. Organizations may terminate their subscription in accordance with the Refund Policy.
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from the use of ViewDent shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts located in Pune, Maharashtra.
ViewDent may revise these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in applicable law, Platform functionality, or business practices. Updated Terms will be posted on the Platform with a revised "Last Updated" date, and continued access to or use of the Platform following such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Users are encouraged to review these Terms periodically to stay informed of any changes.
